CHC RS10 Integrated Handheld SLAM Laser Scanner and GNSS RTK System
The RS10, the latest development from CHCNAV, represents a significant advancement in the field of geospatial surveying technology. This new device integrates GNSS RTK, laser scanning, and visual SLAM technologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency in both indoor and outdoor surveying tasks. It is equipped with a 4th generation GNSS antenna, achieving RTK positioning with an accuracy better than 3 cm, complemented by high-precision LiDAR and three HD cameras. The RS10 offers 5 cm absolute measurement accuracy.
One of the key features of the RS10 is its ability to perform real-time SLAM, allowing the creation of georeferenced point clouds directly in the field, eliminating the need for post-processing. The device can map areas up to 13,000 square meters in real-time, which is particularly beneficial for large-scale or complex surveying projects. The scanner range is from 5cm up to 120m with speed of 320 000 points per second.
In terms of indoor and outdoor mapping, the RS10 offers a seamless transition with its ability to maintain the same coordinate system across different environments. Its innovative SFix technology provides accurate measurements even in areas with weak or no GNSS signal. The device also introduces Vi-LiDAR technology, enabling contactless offset measurements with an accuracy of 5 cm within a 15-meter range.
The RS10 is a versatile tool suitable for various applications such as surveying, civil engineering, BIM, agricultural and forestry surveying, power line inspection, material pile volume calculation, and data collection in underground spaces. This device is particularly useful in challenging environments where GNSS signals are poor or unavailable, offering a new level of accuracy and flexibility in surveying practices.
